Whakatāne local Brian Keindel has been in the towing industry since 1988. He purchased and took over the business in 2015, before opening the AA Auto Centre workshop in 2021.
We are conveniently located on Mill Road, just a stone’s throw from the Pacific Coast Highway, the main road in and out of Whakatāne from the west.
We are part of the nationwide network of AA Auto Centres offering quality vehicle care and repair with the AA’s guarantee for 12 months or 20,000km (whichever occurs first) from the service date, covering any new parts and service work done.

If you are a beneficiary and are in need of car repair, simply come to us. We will look at your car and provide you with a quote for the necessary repair work.
You can take this quote to WINZ to have the repair approved. Once approved, we will carry out the repair work to get you back on the road.
